I think you'll do fine. The quick in and out types missed out on DELL , Yahoo, Excite, QLGC, and a whole slew of others. I'm not long in the techs as I think decent returns can be made playing in and out and even playing the dogs stuck in downtrending trading ranges, but it isn't an easy life. I have to work a lot harder than most just to pull in moderately high returns. I also miss out on some of the dramatic breakouts.

As for the market; seems pretty choppy now. Techs are still reasonably hot, but casualties are starting to accumulate also; look at PAIR and CS. Still a stock-pickers market. I still don't know what to make of it. No idea how things will shift after the first of the year. I'm not ready to plunge in the market at this point broadly. AWRE could be an IOM type of stock though; momentum driven as long as the future keeps on track. When ADSL Lite becomes more of a real thing in the next two years, earnings could catch up quickly for AWRE, so the run up now doesn't look all that premature considering how forward looking the market is with this type of tech company. If it plunges on a total tech market selldown, I'll be back in AWRE with no worry at the right price point as it is the most solid of th pure plays and a momentum leader replacing WSTL which was the previous one.
