Just thought I'd add my 2 cents worth about Ebay...On the plus side...I've bought about 8 to 10 items there...and so far, everything I 've received has been of satisfactory quality.
.

On the negative side...it can take a loooooooong time...up to 5 weeks on one particular item...but the norm is about 2-3 weeks. Another thing, everything I've bought has been under $50 bucks...(I figured I could afford getting ripped off for that much.) I saw an absolutely beautiful French antique wall clock there, but they were asking $7,500 for it...who in their right mind would send some complete stranger a check for $7500 bucks ?!!! Not me !!!
.
For the most part, I think Ebay's current business model will limit them to sales in the "under 100" category. Anything over that, and you become dependent on people who are both rich AND stupid...which is a pretty small market.
