As long as the pro-choice people do not force pregnant women to have abortions regardless of whether the women want it or not, I would not consider them pro-abortion.

The Republicans ran out of issues since they worked on balancing the budget, passed free trade initiatives, and so on. It's harder for the party that wants smaller government to make a case. Now, the Democrats and special interest groups are trying to rally around increasing Social Security taxes and benefits, establish a new Social Security program for long-term nursing case, etc. I'm glad I'm no longer paying the FICA tax. I can only see it going higher. NOW wants higher benefit levels for women. In their speech, they neglect to inform that women collect benefits on average 5 to 7 years longer than men and usually are the ones to collect survivor benefits. The income ceiling for FICA taxes has grown 10-fold in just 20 years.
