Sean,

It looks like I have offended you and some other loyal followers of QP. For this, I apologize. Like I said, I played with QP1 and liked it so I ordered QP2. I expected improvement from QP1 but was disappointed. Yesterday was my first day with QP2 so perhaps you are right in saying that I don't understand how to use the program. However, things are just so strange with QP2. The lack of documentation does not help. If they want to save printing cost, they should put together a PDF document on the CD. Is this too much to ask for? As for bad data, I think a few people agree with me. What do you have for BLS on 12/2?

You mentioned that you are not fond of the scan GUI. Can you tell me how you write your scan? I am trying to write a bunch of scan with varying parameters. So, I tried to write one using their editor, export it, make modifications with a text editor, and import back. Well, this doesn't work. Some of the lines are mashed together.

Sean, I admit that I was frustrated last night, but I don't think it has anything to do with progressive attitude. If I didn't read the manual, then it's my fault. If there is no documentation, then it's their fault. I hope you and others are still willing to help me out in the future, but that takes time. I wanted to get started. Yes, they do have a money back guarantee. But, that shouldn't be an excuse for an inferior product and lack of documentation. QP1 didn't have much documentation, but it was intuitive enough to use. QP2 is not intuitive at all, so documentation is essential. Too bad they don't support QP1 any more. I would rather pay QP2 price for QP1 software. Thanks for letting me vent.
