fun yhoo post Top:Business and Finance:Stocks:Services:Retail (Technology):ONSL (ONSALE, Inc.) Help - Add to My Yahoo! - Sign Out I love ONSL, again ! by: Amroshka (28/M) 14247 of 14272 Frankly, ONSL in the low 30s is a screaming buy. Remember that ONSL started the runup at 30, from 15 to 30 it was going up one or two points per-day, like a normal recovering stock. Most internet stocks (even big ones like YHOO, AMZN) more than doubled since their October lows. ONSL is being shorted like hell right now, so on the way back up it could go as fast as it came down. You will be very angry if you sold out now for a loss and missed it on the way up (again!). Also remember that what goes up quickly comes down quickly, holds the other way as well, specially that the fundamentals of the company did not change in anyway ! [Just money managers playing us for fools.] Also same way that a lot of longs jumped when it was going up, a lot of shorts are jumping in now when it is going down. ONSL is the next Yahoo or Amazon waiting to explode, I could imagine ONSL being 10 times today's value next year. Yahoo is the mother portal, Amazon is the mother consumer site, and ONSL/VERT is the mother industrial site. (well and EBAY is the mother p2p auction site). EBAY can not catch up with ONSL/VERT in b2b area because VERT already has a large established base, and this is what counts. This is why ONSL only gets 40% of the commissions for providing the infrastructure, while VERT gets 60% for providing the customer database and contacting the sellers/buyers. I strongly believe in ONSL on the long run. Their industrial site alliance with VERT is just great ! This thing is what e-commerce really stands for. Potential of industrial site is limitless. Transactions on the orders of tens of thousands of bucks. Look at their pricing structure at: golden.net , Look at the industrial site at: onsale.com . And yes, ONSL is number 2 after Amazon: 100hot.com . ONSL has very good partnerships/alliances with key players like YHOO, ZDTV, VISA An ONSL stock split is actually very likely given how much poeple want(ed) its shares. I would not be surprised if this happens soon. Specially if the management predicts the success of the insudtrial site and forecasts that people will be going crazy for their shares. Recent phenomenal runup for ONSL was excellent publicity. It was on CNBC, CNNFN, BLOOMBERG, you name it, every day since last Monday, that is over the Thanxgiving weekend, hence decent coverage. ONSL might hit 9,000,000 bids by end of next week, they are now at 8,856,683. I noticed a significant increase in their bid rate. Also do not forget that money to TSC (Cramer's) internet fund will start flowing in some time the following week, this Money will need to go somewhere and ONSL is on that fund. Also Steve Harmon, last week when ONSL was in the 50's was reiterating that ONSL is still undervalued ! Cramer and Harmon are not fools. I wish the recent false runup never happened to ONSL. It made poeple less confident about investing in it, so that was misfortunate, but ONSL is a great company and a leader (and I definitley believe it has a very high chance of being the Gorrilla, just give it a couple of more years). But the advantage of the runup was tons of free publicity and millions of investors running to check out ONSL website over the weekend. ONSL stock pattern now is completely messed up to make any predictions, but one year from now they will definitly be trading at much higher prices. The revenues from the ITC is not accounted for in current ONSL EPS estimates, this will change the whole story, and in fact ONSL might be profitable earlier than expected. The overhead of the ITC for ONSL is not that much, they are just using the same auction system they have, and they are already done customizing it for ITC. There is no cost for it, only additional source of revenue ! You must be blind not to see that. Just my own thoughts, you do your own home work and DD. Good luck to both longs and shorts ! -- Amroshka
