General audience question here. I just upgraded the memory on my computer. I use to have 64 MB now I have 128. It seems to me that the computer runs slower. It's definitely not any quicker opening up applications. Do I need to change some jumper settings to optimize the system? It's also a lot slower starting up. I know it has to read 128MB now but just the general starting up is slow. Any suggestions. Steve

Cheeky, thanks for the info. Well, it would seem most people would have nothing to worry about, as most people probably do not share files at all.. Yes, it makes sense, when I first started posting on SI, I used my real name, email, the whole thing. Most of us did! I shudder to think what would happen now if I did that..Considering some of the very strange encounters I've had in the past few years.. I must state, I have also made some very good and dear friends, who know everything about me, which I have never regretted telling them.. Was I lucky in my choices, yes I certainly think so.. ze gyp
