What is your Mother Board, Chipset and CPU? Is it a clone system or a brand name? What kind of memory was in it and what kind did you add?

steve, keep in mind that some systems can only handle so much memory. i.e. my dell dimension xps166 came from the factory with 32mb installed, and is upgradeable only to 64mb of ram.

so, are you certain your puter can handle the bump from 64 to 128?
