I believe Y2K is going to be a much bigger problem than most people realize. Many have never heard of Y2K YET!, but they will next year. It's going to be interesting by the end of next year. I know people that have already bought generators for fear of the power going out. There might be a good stock investment out there in generators. There may not be any Y2K failures at all, but the uncertainty and the hype will create some panic, and people will buy gold big-time sometime next year, IMO.

Jeer..

The argument for gold is based on the assumption
that the payments systems fail in Y2K..what do
you use for currency if you can't get any cash
from an ATM and no one will accept credit cards
or checks for payment??? Gold..

Jim in CT..who knows??
