my bet on Y2K is that the concern will fade, and the best thing to buy will be champagne futures...:) in the end, regular people just dont care about technical issues, and no firms will admit being unprepared, just will hope for the best....IMO, the closer we get, the less it will matter. fait acompli!!

And who in their right minds are going to be in the stock market 12/31/99?

I will not be.

And I will be invested in physical gold (bars and Eagles and Krugers) as well as gold stocks.

I think Y2K is going to be a lot bigger than people realize too.

Did you know KLM and Lufstansa (sp?) are NOT flying 12/31 and 1/1?
