Mike Batter,
I read that the profession that has taken the worst beating betting down the Internet stocks are accountants.
Can you think of a more fundamentals oriented profession?

Yes, Mike B. this is a a great post. To be perfectly honest, and yes do not expect anyone to invite me! this will probably be my last post here. I feel that I have attempted to give of my self here by providing analysis whatever i am capable of, and yet there seems to be a very strange synergy here that does not seem to benefit the folks that choose to trade this stock. I simply do not get it. I have simply never have seen it on any thread before. Hope i do not see any flames from this post because I will not respond to them.

Have not posted much about me thus fair. Nevertheless, if anyone wants to email me i can be reached at rrose@gateway.com.

best regards, rob

I appreciate the discussions here of AMZN whether positive or negative so long as I'm
reading posts by backed factual concrete data or at least a reliable source for info.

Mike,

I never predict a price on AMZN. However, I do give fundamental analysis in almost every post. Hype is not mu style.

The
reality is that AMZN can't be measured by traditional valuation methods, nor do typical
technical analysis theories apply here.

The above is yours and you7 state it as fact. I disagree. Retailing is retailing and traditional valuations should apply. Now you give me a reason why they should not. You stated they should not but without "factual concrete data or at least a reliable source for info."

In any case, I suggest the handful of bears who have nothing better to do than
speculate on AMZN's so-called imminent drop to the sub $100 level to spend more time

IPO coming out tomorrow. $14-16 range. Another internet flash in the pan?? With
Barnesandnoble.com, AOL and CUC Int'l standing ready to eat Amazon's lunch, what are
peoples' thoughts on when to short this one? Can you say roman candle..."

It seems to me that you happen to hop over to this thread and suggest I get lost. That was quite rude on your part so an apology is appropriate.

Given that the last post was on 8/31 it could use some traffic and I think is a more
appropriate arena for the hardcore shorts to share their plethora of bearish wisdom.
Please take your hype elsewhere, you're wasting precious bandwidth it has no place here.

No place here? Look again how this thread is titled.
