This poster seems to have far less grandoise view of IFLY than SiMarx-----he is an IFLY long from the Yahoo! thread--but I see I failed to copy the posters handle--but it is post 15155 -----

I don't think we're going to see IFLY going after becoming a major brand name. The reason is that they
simply cannot scale up their operation by installing another server and fatter data pipes, their operation
relies on human beings.
And human resources is their biggest single cost.
So IFLY isn't going to go out there and brand themselves as one of the BIG THREE TRAVEL
COMPANIES. Because they couldn't expand fast enough to handle that.

IFLY is going to take some very nice, profitable slices from the pie. They will grow at a good, steady
rate - never, ever overextending themselves.

If they go after major brand name status then they'll be seeing tens of thousands of visitors to their
website - they aren't geared up for that yet.

Now in about 3 years we could see a different situation. With IFLY having steadily expanded their
operation and having an excellent reputation for great prices. And course we might see a good amount
of cash with the company due to more stock being issued etc. THEN they might pursue major brand
status.

They will not be another Amazon.com - because IFLY focuses on making money - not losing it.
