Penni, I feel like I should jump in here predictably, and just state that the Two Fat Ladies are elitist upper-class British women who are really quite arrogant. I saw their show the time they went out to shoot sweet tweety birds of all sorts, and they were laughing and having a rollicking good time while they shot up the sky. I mean, some of those feathered friends of ours mate for life! These women have no sensitivity at all, and made cruel jokes about vegetarians. I guess I should add that the recipes they cook look like they are absolutely divine, but must clog the arteries at an unseemly rate. Their motorcycle is adorable, but I bet they are pretty generally sclerotic!! AND the poor little birdies ended up wrapped from head to toe in multiple strips of fatty bacon and baked in a pan. Sort of like "four-and-twenty blackbirds", or something!
