UCONN MEN OR WOMEN EITHER WAY WE ARE #1

Only has happen once before,,, and it was UCONN. No other team has ever done it.

Uconn men deep enough even if Rip Hamilton doesnt have a great game El Amin can pick up the slack. This is our year. It will be impossible to stay #1 all year however crushing two top 20 teams in one week without our A-game quite impressive.

UCONN hasn't really impressed me yet. Their win over Michigan STate was good; however, with Cleaves playing the way he's been playing for the last several games, Michigan State is at best a top 20 team.

You're right about DUke...they're just not playing at their best. I don't know what the problem is...I think chemistry and confidence are the two main culprets. We'll just have to wait and see what develops...

FInally, I think Maryland deserves to be the top team in the nation right now. THey have beaten two good teams Stanford and Pitt. If Maryland can beat Kentucky this weekend they are my #1 Team.
