Tom,

That is the way I reaed this also. We still have our independence ,but, We're getting our vehicle for expansion at little or no cost. It allows our ramp-up to take place much sooner than I expected which is nothing but great to our bottom line.

The merge into nas. will get rid of the shorter problem, give credability to the company and most of all allow DCTC to take it's rightful place in the world teleco market.

I believe the price erosion today is panic on th4e part of those shortting us because they now firmly realize the we're for REAL.

Regards,

Steve

"Not assuming the debt"??? Ummmm, DCI will try to collect $18M, and has *paid* IXC $16M in corporate assets for the "privilege." Please explain to me how this is different than "assuming the debt." If DCTC can't colect, they are in the hole for $16M.

Don't try to play word games here. Bottom line is, they effectively assumed the debt. And the market isn't ecstatic about this "great deal."
