internet company ...? oh but that's too obvious so the street is not impressed...
Exactly, Those companies whose potential is not known will gain the most from speculation. Dell is a great company, but that is no secret. It rises in a more predictable manner because everyone is studying it and has a basic idea of it's potential. No one is sure how much money one line commerce or ad companies will make so there is rampant gambling.

Sonki,
Hi!!! <<hey if fedx is an internet company why not dell>>

You know I find that Dell is patient....things eventually come to the surface....the last article from the Austin Statesman on Monday was very interesting...made a few copies.. :o)

A word I enjoyed in this article was "define"....would be amazing to one day wake up and find Dell gaining half the PE of some of these...that is if "the street" defined Dell as an internet company....but, all this doesn't bother me in the least...Dell putting 50% of their business on the internet by 2000 will make this company roar....Personally, I'd rather see Dell gain more market share and gradually move up...of course that isn't how it has moved up in the past... :o)...so, let's just say I'd like to see Dell duplicate what they have in the past....and Dell can do this!

Best, kemble
