Wow!! - I could of used this companies' blue LEDs 22 years ago when I developed what I believe what had to be one of the first, if not the first, LED television screen carrying live television motion pictures. I later demonstrated the monochromatic working model at an engineering technology expo at the Anaheim convention center in early 1978.

Hey CREE, can ya make those diodes the same price as those red ones!!
Need to finish a newer big screen demonstrator, but I've got a budget you know.

Color TV has roughly 1/3 million red, green and blue pixels each - this gets to be pricey at $4-5 each blue pix - Ouch!
