Hey Dan: Personally I'm kind of glad that Lauch got "caught up" in other things. On the Michael Dell front, the consensus here seems to be that M. Dell is successful because he's Bill's bitch. That couldn't be further from the truth. He basically sells what everyone else does but delivers with an extremely high degree of efficiency. I don't know if you ever read Computer Reseller News, but Dell has been the #1 enemy of that publication and the reseller channel for many years. This year CRN named Dell the most influential executive in the industry. Ahead of Gates, Chambers, McNeely, Barrett and many others. Dell has forced CPQ, IBM, HWP all to alter mfg/distribution strategies in the PC market. I think he deserves more credit than just being a MSFT puppet..... CG
