Cory, Michael Dell obviously does other things right. But the fact that his company is successful doesn't make his Senate testimony any more inherently truthful than Bill's deposition was. Of course Bill had the excuse that Boies was trying to destroy Microsoft, or he was just following good legal advice, depending on what day you ask. Standing tall for Bill certainly couldn't hurt Dell, business wise. Meanwhile, if you read rudedog's posts here, Compaq seems to have pretty good success offering more choice than Dell does, though they haven't figured out the direct sales channel yet.
