<doubling every 100 days> It is the actual traffic that doubles every 100 days, as I reported, and this is on the backbone ISP nets. To accomodate that actual traffic growth, of course the "CAPACITY" has to increase. I believe Frank asked this question a few days ago, somewhat incredulous. Tis true and the long-haul ISP carriers struggle to meet it. Improvements in "Last Mile" just exacerbate it and are a part of that growth rate.
