Thomas .. I'm almost positive that after the first round, the teams are seeded according to their records. I know that's the way it works in the NHL, though I realize that has no bearing on NFL policy.

A current MSNBC poll (approx. 2,000 participants @ 10:50 AM PST)

78 % - bring back replays for the playoffs
19 % - wait until next season, allowing time for review
3 % - do nothing

I wish they had asked one more question - do you want replays in time for next week?

The Divisional Winner will be the higher seed..........

Example: 1979 Playoffs - The Eagles were 11-5 and beat the Bears in the Wild Card Game. They then played Tampa Bay 9-7 (Central Divison winner) at Tampa.
