Game for game, console games will by and far outsell PC based games this quarter. Put this in perspective....an estimated 8 million PSX consoles are expected to be sold this year and roughly 50 million PSX games... GKM analyst Sean McGowen has estimated. Do we get any of this? Well...in terms of units sold: Tenchu: #18- all platforms (Nov 1-15)...finished October as #3. (all platforms)...Sept as #10 (all platforms) and is the #2 top selling PSX game in October and #7 in Sept....avg price about $43. With the release of Tenchu, Apocalypse, Asteroids, Nightmare for N64, Vigilante 8 is still out there, T'ai Fu (maybe?)..will it be enough? As for PC games: Unit sold: Big Game Hunter II scored #2 and #5 (Week 1 and 2 of Nov)...Avg price $18. Big game hunter I: (#11 in Sept, #13 in October) Sin? The question is: How much would Heavy Gear and Fighter Squadron brought in during the 4th quarter and does ATVI stock even reflect this? Fighter squadron would be under stiff competition from other WWI sims and Falcon 4 (the screenshots on this look amazing. Hopefully it's not another M1 Tank Platoon II. A buggy Heavy Gear would be disasterous. So better to wait...not ideal, but.... Titles shipped this quarter: QUAKE II net pack #1 Nightmare creatures - N64 Zork Grand Inquisitor DVD Heretic II Dan Gilbert's Triazzle Apocalypse (PSX) Asteroids (PC/PSX) Quake II Mission Pack: Ground Zero/ Reckoning Quake: the offering Teen Diva Sin Still hot sellers: Tenchu (PSX) Head Games: Anybody see these games? Have you been in Wal-Mart recently?... Upland Game hunter Cabelas BGH II Extreme Paintbrawl Remington Top shot ProPool 3D Will this be enough?
