We could make a nice nursery rhyme about this:

Adaptec runs up
Adaptec falls down
Adaptec price slithers all 'round the town

Or some such. It would be nice if we actually hit a price and held it!

But it is nice that SOMEBODY out there is buying!

My sense is something's brewing. Volume is unusual without specific news. Confidence in the company seems to be returning, probably with justification. Maybe there will be an announcement of a CEO. All the restructuring and retro-focusing has made the company much more attractive than it was five months ago. More attractive for hiring CEO talent.

The way the stock has behaved over the last month--rising to the mid-teens, holding, and now climbing--is a sign of investor confidence. The volume is probably institutional investing.

I expect some positive news very soon. Things just seem to point that way.
