fred, i understand what you are saying and it is mostly true, but there are exceptions. one is a shortage. dell touts a pc shortage to run his stock up. then he lowers prices. come on?

dram tends to go down, too, but what happened in the 94-95 shortage?

in a true shortage prices go UP. that is the only point i'm making. dell is full of hot air ;-) a shortage? come on!

as for q1, we'll wait and see. if it does top q4 then my view is wrong. however, if 90% sold out turns into 30% overcapacity due to an "inventory correction" then intc has some problems.

we'll have to wait and see...

good luck.
