MG, Re: By Me

Cannot respond to the sector index issue. Just don't have the resources available. However, it sure does make sense to remove company specific risk.

Did you watch how OEX bounced off of 590 today? Wow! It sure smells like a trading range. I think we will find out soon enough.

Isn't it also interesting that your stock substitutes for the WEBS are all telecom stocks. Obviously, IBM was monitoring this thread and read of JT's unhappiness with their telecom services. This sure looks like the global battleground for the next few years.

re picking...

I take what they suggest. Ref: Optionsmagazin (monthly).

just to dispel any indication of magic in my hits (count Alianz in for instance g)

dj

PS: Steve... hows General Re doing? Still at 220,right... Poor Warren Buffet and thenall those Charlies and Brendas or whatever the name of those hurricans was.

Allianz got hurt too. Plus Deutsche bank issued covertibles in the name of their Allianz shares to finance Bankers trust. Why do they always have to pick ME?
