Just looking again at Oracles charts. Heres the good news and why brokers will be changing their minds down the road. From 11/96 thru 3/98 the stock put in a major head and shoulders top. The week of 8/31/98 put in an exhaustion bottom but a higher low than the one on 1/12/98. MACD turns positive at the second low and rallies. The stock then moves steeply to its current level practically ignoring the October lows. Relative strength (3 yr chart) is currently at the low of its channel with room to move higher. We need to take out the old high to confirm this trend. A pullback is not indicated at this time. Look at the slow volume after Oracle hits 37. Looks like a Flag or Wedge is taking place. The next move should take us to 44 doubling the move from the January low to the March high. At this point overhead supply will kick in but the overall trend will still be up as we retest the old highs to confirm support.

Here is what crook did for me this year. Started the year sug being long baanf..not sure where the stock was on Feb1, but you can check it if you doubt it was low. Suggested swaping into BMCS when baaanf was high 40s and bmcs was mid 30's. sug shorting baanf when it was in upper 30's and sold bmcs in upper 40's. took that money into orcl at 28 and out at 35. Thats either 4 excellent calls in a row or lucky...take your pick
