Just a short note about the benefits of posting on SI. I am in a stock that has suddenly had some INTERNET news and the day traders hit it with a vengence(okay so far). The trouble is whether they are long or short they seem to have no problem lying ( Clinton fans?) to try and hype their position. That is the problem with Yahoo, anyone can say anything they want because Yahoo won't police their threads and I guess no one is ever prosecuted for giving out intentionally false information. Here on SI the discussion seems to be more civil and no one is going to pay $200 just to get into SI to push a stock they might have a couple hours or days. Both Yahoo and SI are informative but there seems to be more of group effort on the SI thread, while Yahoo seems to be overwhelmed at times by people who think they can manipulate the price by their postings. In three months the Yahoo postings for my stock were about 2000, since the daytraders hit we have had nearly 2000 more postings in three days!!! And almost all of the posts are garbage. Anyway I just want to say I am glad we have SI where we can more calmly discuss important issues pertaining to our stocks.
