This is exactly what I've been saying. If the cost gap narrows enough, there will be less room for Chao Ji VCD.

If the "competitors" VCD costs structure is low enough to undersell ESS. Why wouldn't the same cost structure apply to the "competitors" DVD decoder.

It's not the competition in DVD decoders that worries me as a Cube investor. That's Peanuts.

You really think ESS will repeat and start a DVD price war?
This is they only thing they could have reasonable margins on.
With chips at the $20 level there's not much room.

I see by the volume that the institutions are all over this story.
