Yes I understand that Identix has both architectures that include built in processor/DSP engine and ones that use the base system's processing capability. Identix will probably stay very competitive and as the market expands they will enjoy impressive growth. delSecur still has hurdles to overcome but I believe they will be successful in carving out a significant business, if not dominating a few key market segments as management suggests. The company envisions sales of up to hundreds of millions of units - something that certainly is highly speculative but is also in the realm of future possibility - for both delSecur and Identix/Indicator. Their plans are very bold and maybe unrealistic, but this startup situation stock doesn't need the big market-busting wins to move it up.

I posted to NRID and IDENTIX to get the competitior's point of view on Delsecur technology versus their own. And rigth now I did not get anybody to convince me that the're is better out there ... I know that the're is bigger companies but market for fingetprints has not been establised YET. This is due to weeknesses in other technologies. Delsecur is the closest yet to resolve those Privacy -- Low cost -- Small size -- Portable -- Reliable ... ISSUES Thassico
