I have a lot of questions about HotSpot. Aside from being late, it's probably going to be huge. It's a VM that supposedly does all kinds of heuristic analysis of code paths on the fly, and the fancy stuff I've heard it described as doing can't be little in terms of code size. Even if it works, that will restrict it to servers and other large devices. I don't think it will play in the appliance arena, which means I don't know where the volume (and the revenue) is going to come from. Maybe nowhere. Regards, --QwikSand
