I am happy that ESS still has some die hard investors, in spite of what they did in 97 (management sold at the 28 to 32) and 98 dismal performance.
Yes, both Fred and his wife bought a whole bunch of shares at around $5.

It is learned that Shinco company has changed its 18 VCD production lines to make DVD players, and Amoisonic, Idall and Malcota have also engaged in the development of DVD players and Star company has displayed its sample DVD players in department stores.

like I've said before, DVD will over take SVCD before SVCD reaches the levels in the market that VCD has been enjoying.
