Few believed her story. Geraldo said "who could believe the Governor would do such an act?"(I paraphrase). Now MOST do believe her. TRUTH is stranger than fiction. The LEWINSKY testimony says "he looked down at himself and I knew what he wanted, I got to my knees and he whipped it out"(I paraphrase). THIS couldn't be more pertinent to the JONES story. Think about it. Re:Jones- If I were a gal who went in to the Governors office and experienced that, I'D COME OUT SMILING AND LAUGHING TOO. If she wasn't expected to win on appeal, and if BILL didn't know she could IDENTIFY him in court(hahaha)do you really believe he'd pay her? And after keeping quite through JENNIFER she was finally named as a common whore who gave herself the Governor. The GOVERNOR/PRESIDENT refused to be anything but a spineless liar and allow her to be defamed. THIS was where any real damage to her started. HE, not the american spectator, was the ONLY ONE who could clear her. If he didn't know she had the goods on him, there NEVER would have been NEGOTIATION ONE with her lawyers!

Robert - you're still confused - re: Hyde. You're picking up Daniel's WH diversion spin (late in the game, BTW). Did Hyde ever testify under oath in regard to his affair? Still trying to confuse the issue, I see, so let's be specific: *Clinton is a liar; lying is a behavioral trait, not an event.* He is very good at it from long years of practice and when he gets caught, will use whatever means are at his disposal to discount responsibility and avoid blame, including attacking his opponents and diverting attention from the issue, just as you and his defenders have to do.
