What is everyone doing on this board?

I remember Chip and I doing a few rounds because I was pissed off that 3dfx would miss the technology boat by being late (Q2) with Banshee2 and Rampage was slated waaayyy down the pipeline. This was about two months ago. Now everyone is selling because...because why? The information that came to light at Comdex was much better than anyone on this board was speculating. WHQL certification, OEM deals, Voodoo3 (much better than a 2x .25u Banshee), and 3 new mobile markets to move into. Now the stock move up on strong volume, volume that suggests big things are in the works, and you people sell.

My question is simply this:

If you consider yourself a long-term investor why have you sold now instead of two months ago? Did you people hold this stock all this time just to make a few pennies and run?

Me? When I decide this stock doesn't have a chance of making it to at least 40 I'm out. Why else would I be holding this volatile son of a goat when I could be in something much more stable such as Cisco. It's all about risk/return and with the risk this high, 16 just isn't good enough.

Pat

P.S. This question is intended for those who aren't traders and haven't been smoking the option crack pipe. I already know what motivates these people.
