So,how many shares does he hold? I haven't checked the proxy on Edgar (last DEF14a) but I'd be surprised if it was less than, say 200,000 shares). Selling a small %age of his shares as we approach XMAS seems like a reasonable thing to do.

Ian.

Well, so much for Tyson thinking the shares are cheap.

If he's selling, I only wish that I had already sold the remaining one-quarter of my shares. The stock is already low enough now that I will wait.

If the stock drops much more, the guy has possibly set himself up for a class action suit: he gave rosy forward looking statements in the last cc, and then he sold some of his own stock when the price jumped up.

To answer Ian's question, it looks like he's selling about 12% of his holdings: the Proxy of May 1998 showed that he owned 84k shares outright, plus 177k options. Now he intends to sell 10k of those shares, in the 20's. He last sold a year ago, in the mid 30's.
