I just want Compaq to dip to 39 for about one hour so I can cash in my puts and then it can rush back up. Compaqs legs are getting weak, it may do it today although 40 will probably put up a fight first.

Just normal market action. Everyone that wanted to buy is done. Now the early buyers are profit taking and that will scare the followers that did the panic buying on the way up to panic sell on the way back down. I'm expecting to see it bottom out between 35-37 by mid next week.

Did you fill your scuba tanks (sell calls / buy puts) for the dive back below the water line?
