Between you and Pat, I cannot keep myself honest! I was looking for a short and Pat says be careful, might spike higher. Now I am looking for a long and you say you just went short....probably along with GZ! How can I keep myself straight! <<gg>>

Congratulations - as I recall you shorted the OEX puts when the OEX was 10 points or so lower. Also the time decay must be tremendous for them.

I am looking to sell some OTM calls to balance my short put position. The puts are deep OTM and I don't plan to cover unless we break well below 1140. I would be interested to hear when you do initiate your short call position, thanks very much. My feelings are to look for a bounce, and hopefully a spike up, as well.

Tom - Scott,
On the SPX
Fork off the opening-spread before noon took the time projection
nicely for a move up
Little short bounce off the upper tine and heading up for one
extension and bounced off that
Lets see how long this move off 1170 will last, but it looks to be
a weak move so far.
See Ya
Chip
edit 12:38 following the extended tine down

Tom,

Just to post to you, I did finally close out my long SP's this morning and took one short March to hold my interest. Now, the numbers are clearly in the minus column.

Later...
