Lord have mercy. Remember taking your tubes to the store and testing them yourself on the floor display with the thing like a battery tester? My mom always let us kids do it, because we got so excited. BTW, I like to walk, I like to walk around the neighborhood, and when I was a kid, and older than a kid, I used to be bemused by the soft blue light shining out of the picture windows onto the sidewalks on Sunday nights when Ed Sullivan was on, and how it changed when Bonanza was on. One of the first color shows. Remember?
