Spots,

You only need 64 + 8 bits. I don't know for sure if the DIMMs are wired differently but I beleive they ARE different. All the logic in for Parity or ECC in either case is on the memory controller of the BX Chipset. I beleive they are by the nature of the codes differnt. Parity is Size x 9 Bits x 8 Bytess, ECC is Size x 8 Bits x 9 bytes. Therefore the address pins would be wired differently. I will ask the memory Gods tommorow.
