Sub $500 computer The company, a joint venture between South Korean monitor maker KDS and South Korean PC maker TriGem----- ....EMACHINES e4me.com It comes with Windows 98 and Microsoft Office. This (300mhz) is rated by all the reviews as the best sub $500 computer. e4me.com It is being sold at Office Depot. 3 year on-site warranty parts and labor for an additional $60. Other stores carry it - Best Buy, Costco, MicroCenter, Fry's, Future Shop, Good Guys, BrandsMart USA, J&R Computer World, Nationwide Consumer Electronics. Any thoughts? My brother is looking to get it to casually search the internet. The one thing he does not like is the Celeron chip. He thinks that mmx cache is highly needed. He is a non techie, so I thought I would get some opinions here. Pros/cons of the Celeron chip for the internet (and general usage)? Testimonials? thanks, S.W.
