Why it was even brought to our thread is beyond me.

Me too!!! I've never seen anything like this, and it makes no logical sense at all. If MZ feels that he has been wronged by specific individuals, then there are ways for him to address that appropriately. He is apparently unconcerned about who gets hurt in the wake of his wrath. This is the mark of a very angry person. Not someone I'd want as a neighbor (or father, brother, uncle, teacher, mayor, CEO...) You get the idea.

Joe,

Please bear with me on this.

I just got in from going to a fund raiser with Elyse. It was for the Minneapolis based Center For The Victims of Torture and the speaker was the marvelous Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel who survived Auschwitz and Buckenwald. It was a deeply moving privilege to hear Dr. Wiesel speak and it's something that I will carry with me in my heart. His message is to never be indifferent where you know there is a wrong against people. To get involved and do what you can to the best of your capacities. Tonight I was proud for my own father being the man that he is as (in his own way) he's professed and lived the essence of Dr. Wiesel's message.

Elie Wiesel is the quintessential humanist and the reason he was speaking for this wonderful organization is that torture is a horrific crime against humanity. It's power lies in isolation and this form of brutal repression has proven to be most effective against the personal freedoms we all deserve through democracy. Its purpose is to control populations by destroying individual leaders while frightening entire communities into silence. It is not the physical pain itself that destoys but rather the the full spectrum of human spirit and dignity which is decimated.

Torture survivors are brutalized because of what they thought, said, did or symbolized. These effects can last a lifetime and the depression of victims has been proven to pass on to the family structure. The psychological effects of torture begin before the physical experience and then lives with the victim for the rest of their days.

Then I read something tonight on the thread that is such a close cousin of this reprehensible behavior and brazenly boasts total disregard of the effect of what the intent of this action can really cause. This statement is meant to psychologically intimidate, confuse and perniciously frighten a great many good people who have invested their money and faith in DCI for the sake of their family and their futures. It's the very thing that crawls out of the cesspool and spits in the face of caring attorneys while giving the entire legal profession an undeserved bad name. It coldly and falsely calls DCI management liars just to scavenge any ill gotten concentric effects. It's without conscience or morals and serves only the greed that inspires such loathsomely fetid minds.

I'm sorry for being so wordily strong on this but these malodorous legal attempts disgust me. I sincerely hope Joe Murphy and the DCI legal counsels use whatever time and money is necessary to expose and finally quash such libelous vermin.

I do urge everyone to keep a stout heart of conviction on DCI based of the unified decorum of this thread and what the history of management has proven to us.

ONWARD!

George
