It is not a rare event so there is no significance -- I do like it when they confirm each other. The BKX was the first to break -- and it did the day before the sell on the futures. This is an index that I have begun watching closely over the past few months and what I have found is that rallies without the BKX particpating are short-lived and sell-offs with the BKX confirming seem more reliable. But this is not based on any statistically valid testing -- just observations as I have spent more time in front of the monitor in an effort to day trade.

Re your other post as to P&F data -- I will look to short for a day trade if it rallies sufficiently; next week should be interesting since with the impeachment vote too close to call, I suspect that the market will meander around with the potential for some volatility.
