I may be on no side of the fence; It looks as if the buy may be coming up but I can't tell as all my technical stuff is out. On another question, do you know any tech heads that would know this? My son wants a cable modem so I was thinking about having two more installed, one for my Gateway as well as the existing one on the Mac. Do you think I could just put a card in the Gateway and split the existing Cable Modem for both? I just want the Gateway for PC Quote data and the Mac for access to sites like SI. I mean, including the BMI cable modem I'll have four of them. I don't mind enriching Motorola (may they and their tech support and their Star Tac phones rot in Hell) but I'm running out of outlets in here....the house is over 80 years old fer chrissake.
