I take it you work for an EvilDarkStar, like softy. One cannot contact a software "manufacturer" for free help. Soft saw to that when they junked reference books and help lines. In light of that the only possible entity to hold responsible is the box maker. Fair or not, I would send the hardware back to GTW and tell them to do a Monica.

The point is he was referred to a pay service. Someone at GTW's customer service should have referred him to the vendor and he shouldn't have to pay. The whole industry has terrible customer service, but GTW deserves a place at the top for the worst customer service, IMO
