Jeff, since you happened to bring up technical analysis, I thought I'd post the following link and analysis.

bigcharts.com

Money Flow Index (MFI), depicted on the lower chart, is one measure of whether money is flowing into or out of a stock. Considering MFI helps to show the true flow of buying and selling interest from amongst the camouflage of the totality of all trades.

We can note that there has been a net influx of money into ALYA since early July, despite the fact that the stock price has fallen during that period. Particularly significant is the steady increase in MFI over the past 2 1/2 months. This would suggest that any price below roughly 7/8 is a buying opportunity.

I take this as a significant plus.

FWIW, the upper chart records the number of shares which have changed hands at the specified price. This suggests a good bit of resistance will occur at about 65 cents.

Standard caveats: TA is useless for low-priced stocks, thinly-traded stocks, and your mileage may vary.

JSb.

Well, interestingly this is exactly where it was first found early in the year of our Lord, l998, and introduced to the August Body of pennystock chasing fools on SI. Myself included. Looking at the first day's activity, the stock jumped dramatically, yea, bizarrely, on just a few words thrown back and forth by several who converged.

Perhaps we should invite them back and ask them to do it again.

Anyway, those who got me here by the grapevine meant well, but I do begin to wonder if there really is an ALYA or if this, like many others, is an elaborate scam with a phone number. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

At this point I would rather not discuss SI and what happens to sane people who fall into these various little dark holes. It is all a little weird when you think about it.

I put this also in my box of bad paper and for the most part, it is a non-issue. But my gut feeling is the same pump will be made again that got this to $1.35 on shark feeding momentary frenzy.

I do know with great certainty that probably every single good con artist who ever robbed anyone of anything has probably made their way to penny stocks. And then to the Net within a month. Trust me. It is the only place where one can blatantly and in your face legally steal millions a day, without even fear of getting an angry letter.

Where this unusual little stock stands, I really don't know. But a lot of people who spend a lot of time cruising SI and YAHOO better wake up real fast. Maybe even go back to watching more TV. At least they will have what they started with at the end of the evening.

I know I plan to.

:)
