Consumers Reports is a very a legitimate and reliable source. They do not accept any advertising from any industrial group be it the auto, oil or battery industry. No one owns or can buy off Consumers Report Magazine. They are legit. If ECD's claims are credible, ECD (and its long suffering shareholders)do not have to worry about Consumer Reports.

The last report they gave on NiMH was not terribly positive. Batteries hard to find. Length of battery off standard. High power drain.
