IBES consensus estimates are revised upward, slightly. (But see update at the end!) nasdaq.com The numbers for the current quarter and both fiscal years are slightly higher, and the high estimate for FY '00 is now $2.00, which is significantly higher (it's hard to imagine 2 bucks, but I don't rule it out by then - that would be a 30-month recovery cycle back to about where it was in Sept. '97). (Update: this is weird! I just checked the link above after composing this message, and the IBES page changed back to the old numbers! It was showing a consensus of $0.15 for the Dec. '98 quarter - it's back to $0.145. It's was also showing a high estimate of $2.00 for FY00 - it's back to $1.59. Very strange; maybe my browser's cache is acting up, or maybe IBES had incorrect data for awhile. Anyway, your mileage may vary . . . )
