SO: thanks for digging out those links to Prassi and the Boucher letter (which doesn't seem to be mentioned on the main Adaptec homepage - but I've suggested to the webmaster that they do so). The Prassi product is more significant than I thought; the review makes that clear, unless the reviewer is a stealth Prassi employee or something. But if they really reused ADPT source code, they're gone; I guess the trial will decide that one way or the other. The injunction seems to indicate the judge thinks there's a problem, so it doesn't look good for Prassi at the moment.

The Boucher letter is a nice interim reassurance, I guess. He seems pretty emphatic that things are back on track, so let's hope for good numbers come Jan. 21.
