This is a not a constitutional crisis. This is the first step of a legal process created in the constitution following the paradigm of the US legal system (like a hearing before a trial). It is an odd, embarrassing and uncomfortable moment for the country, but it is not a constitutional crisis. If this were a criminal proceedings; there is enough evidence to go to trial but probably not to convict IMO. I am a Libertarian so I have no partisan position here at all and I am disappointed with all participants in this mess. Mostly posturing and pontificating has been presented with little factual data on either side.
