I know you feel this way rudedog as do many. But you seem to be adhering to the current "Sap works better on a big system" mantra. I am of the opinion that Sap is losing mkt share to tight modular packages that operate at the low end and have no such requirements to be efficient. The queueing server is irrelevant - Im talking about moving Sap core functionality away from the huge host.

You mean the bigger the sap monolithic system performs. If you isolate some core portion of your business, say leasing, and put it on an NT box running sybase with a package *specifically targeted to leasing* then I guarantee you it will outperform the huge Sap system which houses leasing as a subcomponent.

Well I may be in the minority here and thats ok, we'll see how it goes.
