jlallen.. have you ever lied? I've yet met anyone who can honestly say they've never stretched the truth or embellished a falsehood. Perhaps you're that person.

Perhaps its that Clinton lied to a grand jury. That and only that makes it an impeachable offense? Certainly no other representative has told his aides and staff one thing while doing another.

Or perhaps Clinton's had a plan to attack the rule of law by dropping his trousers and lieing about it. It seems there must be better ways to attack the fabric of government than to leave stains on a blue dress.

I'm curious on both your honesty to the first question and the second, because in my opinion the rule of law which is being so rightously paraded around the courtyard actually rests on the concept of structured consensus government, self governance by the people.

The law can be changed, indeed the constitution itself can be changed by consensus. There is no attack on the rule of law by Clinton's lies, but the distorted reverence for law is being used to overwhelm the significance of a crime, while at the same time its being used politically to pry apart the foundation of consensus government.

Its obvious to any twit that this event is being exploited as a political effort to unseat Clinton. One day you may see this, then again you may only be focused on the simplistic arguments which sway you to Republican party loyalty. I'm a Republican whose had enough of this charade. The only way to recover some dignity is to stop this now, short of impeachment then get rid of the special prosecutor's function before it screws us after the next election... that is if the country can forgive this insanity.
