You want a leader like Jimmy Carter, who promised "I will never lie to you"? Or like George Bush, who was "out of the loop" on Iran-contra? Or Ronald Reagan, who invaded Grenada to "rescue US medical students"? I don't much like the way our politics is conducted these days, but honesty is not something I particularly expect from politicians of any party. I know this sounds cynical, but I don't think it's unrealistic. Watch what they do, not what they say. And I don't think that impeaching Clinton will improve the situation. Do you have reason to expect otherwise? Impeaching Clinton will bring the country together? How is that?
